shhhhhh.. 1

hi. it's me again. are you feeling the chill? fall started so quickly, and then.. winter is just around the corner. How's school? For me, I graduated already so, not feeling the pressure anymore. But some days, i feel like missing school. It will be your time when you should be making good memories with friends and boyfriends. eyyy... Believe me, it is way better than being haggard to work. For me, it's like an opportunity to learn things. Oh my... what am i saying?! lol. Of course, students always say, "screw school!" hehe. But, you have to admit.. you don't really totally  hate school, right?!
Anyways... purpose of this blog post?.. hm.. I'm gonna be saying some things about the manga:

Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru

Synopsis (source: MAL)

Ogasawara Aki (age 25) is the reclusive, idealistic composer of the popular band Crude Play. Discontented with his life and with no drive to succeed, he meets Riko, the 16-year-old grocer's daughter in a band consisting of her childhood friends, and asks her to be his girlfriend on a whim. Riko, young and innocent, agrees immediately, but worries about her new boyfriend, whom she suspects has just broken up with a woman he cared very much for.

.......
My real recommendations are just posted right here on my blogger account so.. let's keep this as a secret. hm? A real good follower will smile...;))

Personally, i am bias for shoujo manga. BUt Sometimes, it just gets me pissed off because of the idiot girl, the liar boy or the bitch blond. It plays with my emotion but knowing that plots resolutes in the end, it assures me and i'll be fine. Many times, i feel that almost all of the shoujo manga are fuckin' all the same. Then, without knowing, i'm scanning the pages and didn't care to read the captions. I'm being unfair for it. These times,  I hated those authors playing a romantic love plot that i can't even bear to believe because it's just all being repeated.
Anyways, i still read. Maybe because, i'm witnessing a world in my screen that seems so perfect, so i'm like i might as well escape reality even if it's just a short time. Escaping reality, huh?- a real otaku's old reason. tsk..

Ok, cut the crap. let's get to the point.
Just started reading it. It's still updating and ongoing so let me tell you about my impressions.

The guy. It reminds me of Yano in Bokura ga ita. I started liking him with his pick up line. But the worst is, he's started and built as like being a liar. I Hate liars. so when he immediately say that "he's a neet and a virgin", i was like, "oh, no you didn't?!!".
And the thing about he's being crazily in love with a girl who loves another, and do anything for her just turned me off. And the fact that when he always see this girl he automatically thinking about having her into his bed just sucks.
But,  there's a conflict in himself.  he'll be making his move by doing what he really wanted to finish some things and be better. (chap 6)

The girl. She loves singing. One time when she's in middle school, she heard a guy humming a melody and she can't forget it. a typical shoujo girl. that's how she's being described. Abnoxious, sensitive, innocent, and a cry baby.

The pretty-and-famous-and-sexy-no-one-can't-ignore-and-the-one-who-do-the-pretty-lame-excuses-for-meeting-him-but-every-shoujo-boy-always-fall-for-it-anyway girl (lol, that's long). A bitch. Totally. LOl.
At this moment, i wonder how some girls are like that. They are physically blessed but they are mean. You know, when you were born pretty and you are aware of that, try making some of your qualities pretty good too. A mean girl is always a mean girl. A good girl is the best girl.

toodles!

Love Berrish Chap 13 thoughts

Love Berrish

Synopsis

15 year-old Yuuya Fukushima has always wanted to live on her own, in an inn next to her school. This new dorm of hers, the Strawberry Tree Dorm, turns out to be a place with weird people -- a girl that touches her chest out of the blue, a guy with one of the shortest tempers ever. BUT the good thing is, there's a really handsome and nice guy that she fell in love with instantly! Also, not to mention a crazy cat who adores him (looks can be deceiving...). Yuuya's life has just became much more interesting... (Source: M-U)

"will you go out with me" sincerity?
Tumblr is down at this very moment and when things are down, blogger is not.hihi. At first, I am not that excited reading Love Berrish.  Mangas with this school life type always been the same(as I thought). Like, the female lead was so cute with unrequited love with someone, the boy she likes like the other girl, the other girl likes the boy who like the female lead. Yeah, that's what I concluded in this chapter. And when Azusa asked Yuya to go out with him, I think things are going out the wrong way. At first, I want Azusa and Yuya to end up together but after reading this chapter I realized these things:

  • I like Nagisa better because he cares deep inside to girls. ex. when he waited for Ako outside when she was hurt and offered his company to go to her dorm or when he even made food especially for Yuya on her first night in the dorm and tells Yuya not to worry so much what other people think about her(previous chapters.
  • Nagisa somewhat knew Ako like him.
  • I think Azusa like Ako but when he heard her liking Nagisa, he just decided to ask Yuya to date him. I mean, what was that? There is a quick change of heart? Saying sorry about the 'rain conversation' last time shows that he knew she will confess that time but he doesn't give her the opportunity to do so.
  • Nagisa is so cute than Azusa specially when Emika was fixing his hair.
  • Azusa's one strange boy. Always strange.
  • The moment when Azusa called Yuya for talk, I knew Nagisa sensed something. Nagisa was tensed!;)
  • I will be routing for Nagisa and Yuya from now on.hihi
I'm telling you I'm intrigued right now.hihi. The "will you go out with me" scene doesn't excite me though, and made me sad. The abrupt confession was like a fake one and not sincere. I want to be happy for the female lead but the I have a second thought and that is not believing Azusa's words and was disappointing.
I want to read the next one!  Like, now! (i have so many hanging questions!)

Kyou koi wo hajimemasu ova ep 1 thoughts

Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu

English: Today We Start Our Love

Sypnosis:

Tsubaki is a girl who loves making her younger sister's hair pretty every morning, but she doesn't think that kind of style suits herself! On the day of her High School Opening Ceremony, after she failed to be the top student (who usually makes the ceremony speech), she finds herself sitting next to the actual top student of the 1st years, the worst rude guy ever, Kyouta. Because of his saying bad things to her she purposely cuts his hair. Kyota requests that Tsubaki pay him back "with her body" but Tsubaki pays him back by fixing his hair and making it even shorter! Afterwards, Kyota unexpectedly kisses Tsubaki and swears he'll make her his woman.

Ok..so, after I went from the mall, i logged in to this computer, opened tumblr and http://animekiwi.com/. My eyes constricted right after I saw Kyou koi wo hajimemasu on the updated/new episode category. All I think of was the two Tsubaki and the manga that always left us hanging, now with the chapter which was all about the competition. I definitely believed that the anime' was good because the drawing style and the characters(even if it may be compared to other manga) can really catch the attention of the anime lovers. A manga lover like me automatically gave it a chance. So, when it was all here, I was really shocked and excited, even if i already knew that it will be release anytime soon(no time to check the sched).

I clicked play and I felt a little sadness. It was so fast at first, that I already saw the classroom scene that was suppose to be on the latter part of the future episodes. The animation didn't gave a proper life in the characters. I am picturing Tsubaki Himino as more emotional because the actions might come into life, but it was like a series of colored-printed pages of the manga compiled together in a slideshow. I know, you observed that also. If you haven't red the manga, you may have a hard time understanding the first few scenes. You may lost on a lot of background information that just couldn’t fit into this episode(well, i think that's what the creator thought because of low budget) but surprisingly deep.  The other downside was that the creators didn’t really get a good voice actor for the lead male. If you were watching with subtitles, you might notice it. If you're a japanese, you may exclude this element, but English-speaking watchers will observe the voice of the male lead, first and foremost. Like, Sakura Kinimoto was a favorite because her voice (from the dubber) made it as cute and lovable. Tsubaki, Kyouta is a strong character so I think he deserves a voice that fits his personality. For the female lead?... hm... nevermind! anime' creators always puts a good voice with that stereotype kind of female lead.(you know what I mean). (laughs)
The visual drawing was good, the sketch was the same as the manga (tsubaki was still hot.hihi)

To sum up, well.. let's not judge when it is still starting. Let's give it a chance. ;) For the first time watchers of this anime' without reading its manga, don't judge it so fast. Futhermore, you can start reading the manga series to be able to familiarize yourself with the story. Other scenes that was not included in the anime' may help you and can be one of your favorite scenes in the series. When it comes to the soundtrack.... excellent!

;)

kimi ni todoke - review

Picking a good manga among other manga is hard. It is even harder if you finished a good one and find yourself not really getting over it. For me, it is always my case. I finished the manga and anime' Death Note which is from another category and turning to shojou-type one is strange and different.

When I browsed the directory and gone to romance/shojo type, Kimi ni Todoke was one of the popular submission so I got to read the synopsis of the manga. The title of the manga is an interesting one. It is translated as Reaching You, and that is a catchy one. At first, we will conclude fast that it is an ordinary manga with a very simple concept. Simple because, it has the story of a introvert girl who found his boy rescuing her on every trouble she got and will find themselves falling in-love for each other at the end.
As the reading progresses,  it was something that i was proud of, because I got to see lessons and pure innocence. I got to see kindness, truthfulness and hopes.

Sunako is so creepy at first, when I watched the scenes at the comfort room where she scared the hell out of the girl students. It is creepy yet funny. Everytime I always see the catchy scenes like that I am asking questions, making imaginations and what-ifs. As a student and an introvert one,(even if it is not observed online, lol) I asked myself what if I'm like Sunako? What if one of my classmates are like Sunako? How do you react into situation like this? Will you be like the students who was scared to death and ignore Sunako and never wanting to meet and know her? Or will you be like Kazehaya who will cross bridges to be able to know someone?
Every teen is always been wanting a friend to be with. It is not happy and fulfilling if you don't have a company of people whom you share your days, happy times and flaws with. Sunako is longing for these people and the only thing that she have is by being true to herself. With that, nothing else matters and before she knew it, she gained friends and had a life.. a real one.

I will compile a series of unforgettable scenes we really love next time.
Thank you for your time.
