Shōnen-ai / Yaoi topic

Shōnen-ai / Yaoi

Shōnen-ai translates as "Boy-love".

When it comes to Shōnen-ai / Yaoi type of manga, personally.. I don't hate it... but I prefer different sex relationship type of love story. But since, these days this type of manga have been reading by manga lovers, we should give it a try. I've red some of this type of manga, honestly, I was shocked at first.lol. The fact that cute girls with short skirts screaming to any gorgeous boy-next-door at school didn't exist in this type of manga brings a lot different story. I forgot the title because I was not able to finish it. Admit it, the moment you flip through the pages, new philosophies were open. It was like, "Ow... in this new world, this story may exist..." or "It's not bad at all..."*blush*

I found it really cute, when.. yah... you know what I mean.. some petting.. and all. It is new... it is not a typical love story. That's the best description of this type of manga. You may hate it, love it, choose to ignore or be addicted to it. My tumblr account posted a poll regarding how many followers prefer yaoi and they are openly liked it. Almost all of them liked this type because it's not an ordinary manga. They often tired of shoujo/shonen genre. On the other side, some found it disgusting and not a good thing to see.

As third sex and same-sex relationships are mostly accepted by the society, no wonder, this topic is all over the internet and invaded all fields.

In this genre, usually boys appeared to be cute-looking guys with their guy friends who afterwards develop a different feeling over each other. Because almost all of the characters are cute,  we can't helped it. We also loved them both as they become soft and caring for each other. What we see is their softer side.

To conclude it all, it is not bad to read this kind of manga. As long as, we are open to new story and plots. It may affect your life, philosophies and reading preference for I terribly believe how things we read can influences us. We can better understand the third sex in this society if we give it a chance to affect us through this piece of art.

ps.  honestly, im shy to talk regarding this matter.lol. *blush*

KNT Chapter 45

Kimi Ni Todoke Chapter 45 Thoughts and Insights

So, after I checked some of the pictures on the Kimi Ni Todoke tag, I sensed that Chapter 45 is out. It excites me a lot. The fact that you are always checking every anime'/manga sites you know for updates and the old chapter is still on, really sucks(laughs). I am always patient in anything but waiting for the next chapter of one of your favorite manga to be out is like waiting for the flower to bloom in May or waiting for your crush to say hi! whenever he wanted to.

I proved it then when I open a manga site and sure, I started this day right. I have always some questions lingering in my mind after I red the last chapter of it and some of them are these:

- How Kuronama and Kazehaya will surpass troubles as a couple?
-What will happen to Ryu and Chizuru? Will love blossom?
-What will happen to Ayane's lovelife?
-What will happen in the start of summer?

I clicked open the Chapter 45 and it is entitled "It is almost Summmer". It's July.

It started with changing of seats and a couple was unlucky that time..

Changing of seats is a big deal in most of the students because it reflects how your school term is all about. You would have wanted and prefer to seat beside your bestfriend or your boyfriend for comfort, fun and for easy approach. But at times, you should be open to new acquiantances and changes.
The three friends wanted to change seats with Ryu but he don't want to. But things are just simple and accepted by Kazehaya, as expected.

I like this scene, how Kazehaya sits there:

Meanwhile, someone's worried for something...

Outside the classroom, Ayane and Chizuru observed that there are more couples lingered at the hallway that day probably started after the festival.
Advices are important. It is more felt and ponderable if a close friend say it to you. It is as if you just receive  care and cautious words from your loved-ones who always wants you to be happy and never wanted you to get hurt.

After that advice, someone came...(funny times..funny times...)

Ayane gave a candy to Pin because he ran out of it during the festival.
She then opened unconsciously to Pin after Chizuru left about the feeling of being different from her two friends.

Is there a time when you feel being left out by your friends? I mean, when you think at times that they are better in handling problems in life than yourself? And if so, how do you handle things like that?..
I think the most important thing to do is to voice out what you feel in front of them or to the people who knows you well. Ayane didn't open directly to her girl friends but someone comfort her with a pat.

Shit! When I red that page...at the back of my mind, I wanted them to be together. There is hope people!!! (laughs)

And I hope it also for these two..

I don't know, but things are pretty improving for Ryu and Chizuru. That night, they talked about everything as always. They discussed about what are their activities at summer,
how Ryu increased his height again,

what things Ryu is afraid of,

moments when Touru got married with his girlfriend...(i still felt the hurt there..)

and his strong points...

and the list goes on...

Love, love, love!!!!

kazehaya moments... chap 1

I woke up this day thinking about my next blog post here. I had posted so much pics of manga boys at the tumblr site and I want to specifically describe one of them. Yesterday when I took a bus going into my destination, I was thinking about boys..lol, because that bus fetch good looking boys in almost all of the bus stops and took a glimpse at some of them. Until then, I acknowledged manga boys characters and each of them have their unique ways of capturing each of us. If I were to compare human beings with manga boys, it has a big difference. First, manga boys doesn't exist, and that is too bad. But manga boys sure is better than than the real ones, these days. I automatically remember a good boy from Kimi ni Todoke and that is Kazehaya. And the thoughts about him goes on until I clicked the stop button of that bus that day.

Evidences sure tells the truth so here are some of the scenes in Kimi Ni Todoke showing how this boy win our hearts, including mine.(for now, it will be by chapter)

From chapter 1 (seat change):

Kuronama says so much about this guy...

That "He's invigorating even when he is soaked!) comment make me idolize him more...so true.

Well, if I'm Kuronama my anticipation may exceed..;)

And for that.. I said "yes".lol

Kuronama's towel guy..(i just remember someone familiar).

It is the warmth that Kuronama sensed from this guy. If you have that warmth over things that you see them as something that is important and treat them well, people will acknowledge you even if for you, it's not that of a big deal.
The first step then to be like K is to love people.

I like it so much when Kazehaya is trying so hard to hide his face when his blushing. When he puts his hands over his face.. it is even more cute.

At the river bank, Kuronama felt the feeling of comfort and tomorrow-will-be-ok-as-always mood with Kazehaya.

Being optimistic about life is contagious. When someone tells you that you can pass the test, you will feel enthusiastic and start feeling the same way... because of the fact that it is fun believing that things will be alright and feel relieved. What more if, positive comments came from the one you adore.. you automatically have faith in him right?..

He appreciate small things.

He is always there, you can't feel the wall between you. His openness welcomes everyone, for that more doors opens for him also... for that he receives more than he gives, and he didn't know that. For at all times, he is busy giving himself to all. He cares so much by looking after you making sure you are ok and doesn't wasting a tear.

Finally, I just love his smile.;)

"say i love you" chapter 5 review

Here we go again trying to review this manga and stuffs..
It's chapter 5 and 3 or 4 chap to go.. (wanna suggest me a good one?)just comment on tumblr or here...

This chapter seems so easy to predict. It's summer time! I love summer. I can stand the hotness but what I really love is to be able to wake up every morning and sunshine came flashing through my eyes from the blue bright sky.

They went to the beach...

Let's take a look at the girls. You know I've red some mangas and everytime they are in the beach, it was a big deal. The important scene is how girls look like by their bikinis. But, protagonist always have weird look, right?lol.

Mei was like..insecure that day about Asami and asked this question to Kurosawa..

It's so easy to say 'not my type' rather that 'I don't dislike that type'. It is somewhat confusing for Mei, isn't it? It's like... if you don't dislike her, then maybe.. someday you can like her. Well, that's what I conclude.lol.

But.. nevermind..

Kurosawa sure know how to bring back Mei's confidence. And love.

Mei is off to beach and floating when she remember a memorable part of her childhood years...

She haven't been to the sea because her father won't allow her to.

Her father was very strict that time and when he got cancer...

Before she knew it... her daydreaming brought her to the deep side of the beach..

And her hero always saves the day...

The night seems not over yet... They found themselves in a room and tricked by their friends.
And things are a little bit awkward (trust me..no perverted things allowed here..so keep reading.lol..but i wonder..joke)

He affirmed. She was hurt.

That was nice. I terribly believe that guys should be like K. Being honest matters most. Being truthful in front of the one you love can clear out  future misunderstandings, even if sometimes.. truth hurts. Mei accepted that fact, i think people who are in love.. take that risk... acceptance.

"Say i love you" chapter 4 review

It don't ever think that blogging is fun like this... the fact that I am telling a story of something that I really wanted and express the lessons that we should all learn from this piece of art. So... let's start.

This chapter 4 is about going on a date... well, at first it wasn't a date...

Going on a date I think is fun, as long as you are with the right people and things aren't going to be beyond the borders(well, you know what I mean..teens). And Mei thought of this when Kurosawa invited her to go see a movie...

When walking and looking through glass windows of every stores, some girls approached
Kurosawa and he entertained them by taking pictures. A talent scout gave him calling card and offered him a job. You know, when you are a like-a-date situation and your partner seems the center of attention of how good-looking he is, you kinda feel awkward right? and things aren't turning to be intimate and private.

But the next scenes made me squirm...

Holding Hands was always been major cheesy situation...and never gets old.

You should remember one thing... if you are too embarass, maybe try to hide.. because its more embarrasing if someone you know will see it.lol

Looks who's jealous..

After that they are both pissed off and Mei asked to leave. Kurosawa came to rescue and reminisce his past. Then it made Mei realize something...

I was shocked when finally Mei approved the kiss Kurosawa asked that day.

After this long day.. the parlor plan seems ruined and Kurosawa said that he prefer Mie with her long hair.
