shhhhhh.. 1

hi. it's me again. are you feeling the chill? fall started so quickly, and then.. winter is just around the corner. How's school? For me, I graduated already so, not feeling the pressure anymore. But some days, i feel like missing school. It will be your time when you should be making good memories with friends and boyfriends. eyyy... Believe me, it is way better than being haggard to work. For me, it's like an opportunity to learn things. Oh my... what am i saying?! lol. Of course, students always say, "screw school!" hehe. But, you have to admit.. you don't really totally  hate school, right?!
Anyways... purpose of this blog post?.. hm.. I'm gonna be saying some things about the manga:

Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru

Synopsis (source: MAL)

Ogasawara Aki (age 25) is the reclusive, idealistic composer of the popular band Crude Play. Discontented with his life and with no drive to succeed, he meets Riko, the 16-year-old grocer's daughter in a band consisting of her childhood friends, and asks her to be his girlfriend on a whim. Riko, young and innocent, agrees immediately, but worries about her new boyfriend, whom she suspects has just broken up with a woman he cared very much for.

.......
My real recommendations are just posted right here on my blogger account so.. let's keep this as a secret. hm? A real good follower will smile...;))

Personally, i am bias for shoujo manga. BUt Sometimes, it just gets me pissed off because of the idiot girl, the liar boy or the bitch blond. It plays with my emotion but knowing that plots resolutes in the end, it assures me and i'll be fine. Many times, i feel that almost all of the shoujo manga are fuckin' all the same. Then, without knowing, i'm scanning the pages and didn't care to read the captions. I'm being unfair for it. These times,  I hated those authors playing a romantic love plot that i can't even bear to believe because it's just all being repeated.
Anyways, i still read. Maybe because, i'm witnessing a world in my screen that seems so perfect, so i'm like i might as well escape reality even if it's just a short time. Escaping reality, huh?- a real otaku's old reason. tsk..

Ok, cut the crap. let's get to the point.
Just started reading it. It's still updating and ongoing so let me tell you about my impressions.

The guy. It reminds me of Yano in Bokura ga ita. I started liking him with his pick up line. But the worst is, he's started and built as like being a liar. I Hate liars. so when he immediately say that "he's a neet and a virgin", i was like, "oh, no you didn't?!!".
And the thing about he's being crazily in love with a girl who loves another, and do anything for her just turned me off. And the fact that when he always see this girl he automatically thinking about having her into his bed just sucks.
But,  there's a conflict in himself.  he'll be making his move by doing what he really wanted to finish some things and be better. (chap 6)

The girl. She loves singing. One time when she's in middle school, she heard a guy humming a melody and she can't forget it. a typical shoujo girl. that's how she's being described. Abnoxious, sensitive, innocent, and a cry baby.

The pretty-and-famous-and-sexy-no-one-can't-ignore-and-the-one-who-do-the-pretty-lame-excuses-for-meeting-him-but-every-shoujo-boy-always-fall-for-it-anyway girl (lol, that's long). A bitch. Totally. LOl.
At this moment, i wonder how some girls are like that. They are physically blessed but they are mean. You know, when you were born pretty and you are aware of that, try making some of your qualities pretty good too. A mean girl is always a mean girl. A good girl is the best girl.

toodles!

Review: Saiunkoku Monogatari Season 1

Sypnosis: (MAL)
Saiunkoku is a world of eight provinces or houses, each named after a different colour. The new Emperor, Shi Ryuuki, has gained for a reputation for being uninterested in courtly matters and for flaunting his love for men. Shuurei, although born of the important Kou family, has difficulty making ends meet. She easily accepts an invitation to be the Emperor's concubine in order to turn him into a good ruler. The mysterious Seiran, a young man who was adopted by her father, goes with her as Ryuuki's bodyguard. Entering the imperial palace revives Shuurei's dream of being a court official, and, together with the many companions she meets along the way, continues moving bravely forward while trying to fend off the Emperor's advances.

Hayeeh!

You know, the one thing i regret is to slip off a good anime and not giving it a try. Watching Saiunkoku Monoogatari is like having to be careless about the world, like staring a fall leaf to drop, waiting for a snow flakes to crash the window or like staring your crush from afar and just being happy and contented. ;)
4 Days ago i was needing a good anime to watch and wanted to be away to those anime which are action-fantasy-supernatural type for a change. I wanted something new. I thought of Fushigi Yuugi's era and it led me to this anime.
It was supposed to be good.. but i think it's more than that. It was so addicting that i was always surprised when the closing song starts to play. I can't get enough of it. And before I knew it, I was crying at the closing song.. of the last episode.
It's the third time that an anime made me cry. The first was Bokura ga ita and second, i cried a bucket of watching Clannad: after story.
If I'm gonna recommend a good anime, this has to be one of those. Forget Naruto, One piece or Bleach for a second, you gonna give this a try. And if you started posting its pictures on your blog, i'm watching you!! (devil's eyes..hehe)
It was aired 2006, well, i can't blame myself of not watching it on that year because i was having a cursing time with my Algebra problems. (laughs)
It's not really the looks of the characters I'm truly impressed. It's the characters. Each of them are different. Each was established in a way you can't ignore one of them. It's the feeling of knowing each of them and having to feel what their actions are because of their past, their work, their ranks and their dreams. You'll be telling "I like the Emperor for her", and then at some point your option was being swayed because a new character was built and then at the end you'll be saying "It doesn't matter who's for who.. really.." The funny thing is, even the minor character won you over.
At some of the episodes, It was so fulfilling having to feel what the girl protagonist is feeling. Or, having to predict like, "Oh my, she's in-love with him.." even without truly hearing romantic words from the girl.
What more can I say, I loved it.

bye! :)

*Ahm.. i would love to hear your thoughts. :) - fymb

crops for today!

hi guys!let me tell you about where we went this day. we went to downtown. you know, when downtown comes in my mind, i always think 'bout library and bookstore! hehe.. i bought "The Girl with the dragon tattoo by Stieg Larsson. I was planning to read this book when a movie adaptation trailer came. who had a copy? I decided to buy this Millenium series book one as soon as possible. I always love books and everytime i got to have time i want to go to bookstore to purchase book copies. I catched glimpse of some manga and what a bliss it was! Naruto is always a bestseller and Bleach. I also found the  Hino Matsuri Illustrations Vampire Knight book. I always love  his art. All pages are consists of solid packed colored illustrations of VK characters in full pagesMost of the illustrations are of the main trio; Zero, Yuki and Kaname. But even with in that, there are a lot of pairing pictures, mostly Zero x Yuki or Kaname x Yuki. I say, the print quality is very high!

Anyways.. so much for that, here are some of my favorite crops today!
manga: hentai oiji to warawanai neko
*"why can't i just speak my mind?" - how many of you ask this question at some point of your life? Are you the kind who unconsciously say what your mind speak, discreetly say safe words for you to not hurt others even if you're shouting inside, or not speak any of those thoughts in your mind at all? This phrase stopped my reading momentum and made me pause and think a bit longer. If you're gonna ask me, i can only say that there are times that words should be left unspoken and needed to be rephrased when decided to let it off and hear. I think, even the most sarcastic and tact person in the world have words and thought that never even said.
manga: hana no mizu shiru
*i already read this one, but when i was browsing some manga to read, i accidentally click this again and i got hooked again. >.< This is one of the few  yaoi/shounen ai that i love.
manga: Kore wa Koi no Hanashi
*ahm.. i know some might not be interested in the genre/type of manga which focuses on the couple protagonists which have a wide age gap usually 10 to 15 years. Furthermore, this manga crosses that gaps because this time a 10-year-old have feelings for a 30-year-old novelist. So, when you do a little math, yes, they are 20 years apart. Don't react! Reserve opinions in mind. This manga won me over because there is something about it that will make you think how Love can cross boundaries. It won me over. if you read this, well congrats, i think you read some few manga worth reading! If not, try.

*that's it for now! for those students out there.. study hard! xoxo

my favorite crops for the week: set 1

starting now, i'm  gonna post crops i recently read and watched over the week(so a post for each week). it turns out that i have to at least remember them because at some point a thought of losing my files bothers me. I've got a trauma about deletion of such files. i remember one time when i and my best friend had shopping, had the best laughs and had our pictures taken and then suddenly she accidentally deleted all. it broke my heart not just because of that, but because she cried over the phone. so, with that experience in mind, i should at least place my favorite anime and manga pics and crops to where it can't be easily deleted.
here we go..
(crop from aozora yell)
*looking at my shoes means being shy and too weak to look into people, to talk socially, having no confidence and saying apologies always(well.. the girl used to say sorry..so..)
(crop from naruto ch 558)
*i love these guys.
(crop from blue exorcist)
*the current 'apple of my eye'. he can be cute at any time and as badass as hell!
(crop from blood c manga)
*yes.. yes.. it's from blood c manga. i'm sorry, i can't get enough. >,>
for now.. these are some. the week is far over so maybe i can add some over the next few days.
mwah.

fave cosplayer..

before i started writing this blog, i got a problem what pic of Alodia Gosiengfiao I'm gonna post. It was way too many and they were all cute. And then i decided to pick a very simple one.
Profile, you say? Two words - "Cosplay Queen". She got my attention really quick. She really have nice face but it's not the reason i got to admire this woman. The fact that she loves anime, video games and cosplay and so other things makes her not only cute but beautiful. When i see her, i always smile. Maybe because she lives in a life of being an anime lover which she loves and loves her back.
To know her more, you can check her out thru her facebook account here.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Alodia and maybe you can easily guess what character she's portraying.

you? do you have a particular cosplayer in mind that made you smile and love anime more? comment. i wanna know!

love lots!
