to like or not to like

Thoughts from ep 22 of Ore Monogatari

it does seem a little too late that i'm reacting to the episode. i'm a bit quiet telling my opinions between Suna and Yukika.

So here we go..
It's cute. they are cute. i love girls with glasses in anime and manga. i love them to death. the library girls who always bring so many books in her hands. the shy type.
but you see, this is Suna. and i hate myself why i'm a bit protective of this bishie character. if you always read my tags, he's my ultimate cinnamon roll. my daily posts(well, not that daily). my 'protect at all times' kind of guy. my 'too good for this world' boy. my 100+ tags post. even giraffes love him.

he loves this certain type of bird. he loves reading. he loves Takeo(in a homo or non-homo way). he even like Yamato. he likes people and probably dislike them at times when they say not good things about his friend. he's kind. Takeo said Suna is kind. He could make you touch his hand. he rarely does that. did i say he read books? from series to series? His laugh is cute. Flawless skin, smooth head of hair. Lots of sunshine in his background and glitters in the road he passes. he observes things. won't disturb your date if you have one. if a bird needs to poo, like the bird surely needs to poo, the bird will decide to procrastinate, nearly will kill himself, shake away his basic need, if Suna is walking below him. (haha)
i bet he doesn't really study but get good grades. the whole world is a little better when he was born. those girls who likes him, was blessed in all glory. he doesn't really like sports, but he can run fast and dodge balls. for a girl. he can put out the fire in your clothes, if you happened to catch one. he can eat sweets you made. he remember memories-- mainly the funny ones. he can catch your bag if you accidentally throw them.
he is kind.

in my opinion, i don't think they meant for each other. coming from someone who doesn't read the manga updates. the episodes which Yukika was introduced up to ep 22.. for me, it doesn't justify true love.
even if the animation made a million flowers and bubbles between them. even if she like him, and somehow Suna blushes. it's not because of the creepy stalkerish ways she made(that some people hate) or because some people wants him to be ARO, which is a bit selfish if it meant for him being alone the rest of his life.
i just knew it. i don't know why i knew it.
but maybe i do, with some of these guesses:
This couple is cute, but it will wear off making them boring and shallow. I have this ideal girl in my mind way before this arc was aired and this ideal girl is total opposite to Yukika. it's funny. I imagine someone who is active, a fancy girl who doesn't fuck with everyone. Who straight up will tell him she likes him. doesn't do bullshit. doesn't do subtle. she's transparent, giddy, pushy, a bit of an adventurer. crazy girl who is more like Takeo, a pony tail girl but can sweep Suna off his feet when she lets her hair down. Not the type who have goals of an actress and wants to go to America or a shy library girl who loves Shakespeare. Stereotypes, i know. But.. Suna deserve different. Maybe because, i like opposites. i told you guys this. heh

So yeah, it's a good episode. i never expected for Suna to say i love you back and lift her princess style while running off in the horizon. Suna deserved more than that. i would say, it will not satisfy me if that happens. Imagine them, going on a double date with Yamato and Takeo. It's too much sugar. And too much sugar, is... bitter.

I don't wanna talk about the girl's way of stalking or Suna's Aro status for now. We have some opinions about that. But this blog's purpose is just one.. for me, it's not the end, maybe they'll be together at the end of the manga, but that episode is a thumbs up. i don't want him to be alone. but if he wants it, and he is not particularly lonely, it's good. i think, i'm good for it. But in a long run, i want him to meet his ideal girl.. his Miss Right.

i think that ep is not stupid, or illogical, or stagnant or dumb or boring. i was in awe actually. coming from someone who is reading so many shoujos, believe me i know too many  stories that the bestfriend ends up with the other guy, or the next guy. the girl like the guy, her bff like the guy's bff too. then, the other one surprisingly like the other girl too in the clique. the characters are all paired up. and you know what, it doesn't really work that way in this anime, well at Suna, and it made me more excited. i couldnt wait to know more about them. or to be surprised. is it  that in the long run, Takeo is not for Yamato? Is it in the end, they will go to their different paths? Is Suna trying to conceal a secret? Is Suna have a good reason why he rejects every damn girl who confesses to him? i have questions but they are good ones.

i love the ep. i read a certain review, a bad review at that. and it's saddens me that the reviewer didn't like the ep. He wanted for them to be together and do double dates and marry and have children. No.. there are not really the exact words, but pretty much the gist.
So i wrote this just so you can read my opinion too. that no, I dont want Suna to be alone for the rest of his life, and no, i don't want him Aro, but like, if the girl haven't even drawn yet, it's okay and i'll patiently wait.

hehe.

til next time
