High school of the Dead Episode 1

Synopsis

A mysterious, lethal disease is on the loose worldwide, resulting in a catastrophic death rate of humanity, and the increasing rise of attacks, caused by the living dead.

In Japan, several high school students and a school nurse have banded together to escape Fujimi High School shortly after it was attacked by zombies. The group now attempts to figure who or what was responsible for this plague, and in the meantime, attempt to survive the present apocalypse.

The story is initially narrated through the eyes of Takashi Komuro, one of the students who had survived in the initial outbreak.(from http://myanimelist.net/anime/8074/Highschool_of_the_Dead)

Number One, Zombies are always scary(except those at the thriller mv, hihi). Like, I saw it straight to my eye at the very first second of the very first moment I saw its very first episode. And.. "oh, yeah, that's nice..", I said. It started with a promise. Again.. a promise. You know sometimes, I got bored with these flashbacks and stuffs and promises and childhood and "when we are adults already, let's get married" thing.;) Those are the moments that started it all, so please don't let your future children to go on a park, playing sand castles or something with boys for it may turn out either very good(they still love each other afterwards till they get old) or bad(the girl/boy forget and have a new boy in her dreams/like)......
No..no.. no.. that's a joke.

At this anime', Zombies are killed(well, not a fit word for them) if they are to be hit straight to their heads. There is no effect hitting them at their hearts. Oh, I left confused there, maybe because it's a lot messy when hitting the head than striking the heart like Rei did. hihi. The worst part is when you got bitten by one of them, a few minutes will pass and you'll be one of them.

Number 2, Unrequited love. What is more exciting than unrequited love? There is no suspence if anime characters will end up easily. So it's good that we can feel the love triangle also, right?

Takashi is in the same class as Rei whom he has been friends with since childhood. He's loved her ever since she made a childhood promise to marry him when they were older. However it was his hesitance and ignorance about her feelings that caused tension in their friendship which led to her starting to date his friend Hisashi. He was one of the first people to notice that something was wrong in the school and quickly took action to escape with his friends.

Number 3, Annoying new girl. The fact that Takashi and Rei knew each other from the start is enough for her to at least acknowledge a childhood friend. I don't know, I found her annoying(it's up to you, friends).

The part that Takashi wanted to hit the zombie head of her boyfriend and Rei didn't want to step aside, what's in my mind is..."Oh, really... then go with him to hell.."..hihi. jk.

Conclusion: I might include this anime' to my looking-forward list. I want to be more pissed off by Rei. I want to look forward for Takashi's leadership. Love? No.;)

Rating: it is too early to rate? I might give it a 7/10.
